Position Summary
The Payroll & Benefits Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, supporting payroll and benefits administration, and ensuring employee data is up to date in Dayforce. This role provides administrative support for employee lifecycle events, benefits enrollment, payroll changes, and HRIS data management while ensuring a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Duties & Responsibility
HRIS & Employee Records Management
Maintain and update employee records in Dayforce, including personal information, compensation changes, job changes, reporting relationships, and organizational updates.
Process employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and leaves of absence.
Ensure employee data is accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company policies.
Conduct routine audits of employee records and identify discrepancies requiring correction.
Generate and distribute reports from Dayforce as requested by HR, Payroll, and management.
Payroll Administration Support
Enter and maintain payroll-related data, including earnings, deductions, direct deposit information, and tax updates.
Support payroll processing by reviewing data for completeness and accuracy.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
Prepare payroll-related documentation and employment verification letters.
Benefits Administration Support
Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in Dayforce and vendor portals.
Maintain employee eligibility records and benefit plan information.
Assist employees with benefits forms and enrollment requirements.
Support open enrollment and annual benefits administration activities.
Liaise with benefits providers to resolve administrative issues.
Qualifications
1-3 years of payroll & benefits experience.
Experience using Dayforce HRIS/Payroll preferred.
Strong data entry and data management skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
Familiarity with Canadian payroll & employment legislation required & US Preferred.
Effective communication and customer service skills.

Base Salary: $65,000
